HPE VelociRaptor 600 Twin Turbo Dyno Test

After revealing their VelociRaptor 600 Twin Turbo package for the Ford F150 SVT Raptor back in June, the Texas-based tuners at Hennessey Performance Engineering have now released a video of the dyno test completed with the vehicle.

We can see the tests for the 622 bhp VelociRaptor Twin Turbo system showed it makes 517 rear wheel hp on 6.5 psi boost and 93 octane pump gas.

The modifications brought to the powerplant included adjusting the ECU, twinball bearing turbochargers, dual air-to-air front mounted intercoolers, stainless steel turbo exhaust, dual 44 mm VelociRaptor Twin Turbo rear view wastegates, dual blow-off valves, electronic boost controller, a polished inlet piping, as well as a fuel system and injector upgrade.

The only styling elements changed by Hennessey were adding a VelociRaptor 500 badging, exterior Hennessey emblem on the tailgate and serial-numbered dash and engine plaques. The team behind the project, however, left the interior untouched.

HPE also offers a second package for the 6.2L F-150 SVT Raptor, known as the VelociRaptor 800, that gives the Raptor 810 bhp at 5,100 rpm and 745 lb-ft torque at 3,300 rpm.

The company has yet to announce how many kits will be produced or pricing details of the two packages, but no matter what, some extra thousands of dollars will have to be paid in order to have the Hennessey Performance Engineering team install the kit.
