The new BMW X5 now is fitted with rear comfort seats, mainly due to the new, 3rd row of seats that allow you to carry up to 7 people at a time. This will also allow you to use the second row of seats almost like the front row.
The new seats can now be moved both forwards and backwards, for maximum comfort. The backrest tilt can also be adjusted to no less than six settings, 3 times more than on the brand new 3 Series GT.

In order to move the seat forwards or backwards, you need to use the lever located below the bottom cushion and slide the seat in the desired direction. To adjust the backrest you need to pull the lever located on the top of the seat and then push or pull the backrest, depending on how you want to lock it in place.
