In case of the MINI, using a tow hook is easier than it looks. In case you're in an emergency and need to be towed to a service, here's who to use the tow hook on your car.
In the front, to the right of the license plate, there's a cap covering the front tow point for the hook. That's where you need to screw the hook in, in case you need someone to help you. The hook can be found under the front passenger seat.
In the same way, you can also tow someone yourself. At the back, the MINI has 2 tow hook points, one on the left and one on the right side. Furthermore, those same points can be used to mount a bike rack on the back of your MINI.
