Just when I thought MINI instructional videos couldn’t get any weirder, of course something even more awkward comes along. The latest video from the MINI USA folks showcases how to use the boot pass-through door on the Roadster model.
Just the other day I was looking at what XCAR had to say about the MINI Roadster and noticed that they even took the time to talk about the boot of the car and praise its generous space.

It’s true, for a car in this segment, the Roadster does very well in this department. With 8.5 cubic feet of luggage space, things are looking very good for any possible customer, interested in carrying luggage on his seaside trips.

However, it might be annoying to stop the car, get out and pull something out of the boot. That’s why MINI fitted this model with a pass-through door that gives you easy access to items stored in the back.

So, to help you out and avoid the embarrassment of watching the whole video I decide to summarize the whole thing. In order to use the pass through door, just open it and search through the boot but only if you’re not driving. Do not use it when in traffic.

You might also want to lock it to prevent thieves from having their pick out of the things you store over there. To do so, retrieve the mechanical key from your car’s key for and lock the door. It’s as easy as that.

If you really want to have a laugh though, watch the video below too.
