Small errors can cause big problems - this is known by pretty much anyone. However, when aboard a bike or riding with others, things can be even more dangerous since we're talking two wheels and vehicles which can't wait to run amok when their operators make mistakes.
So here's a nice video of what can happen when several such small mistakes occur at the same time. First of all, it's some sort of dual error: riding closely to the bike in front requires that you know the fellow's riding manner very well and can "sync"with it.
This includes being very aware of what's happening around you and what is the chap in front doing or planning to do. Fail to pay attention and it's crash time!
On the other hand, it's always a good idea to use the turn signals way ahead of steering off the road or simply change your direction. This means you give plenty of time to other road users to figure out your intentions and act accordingly.
Now, for the Monster rider, learning how to brake better is definitely a must, just like getting used to trying to find escape routes swerving around the fellow in front.
In this particular scenario, there was plenty of road left on the right hand for safely passing the Hawk and slowing down securely, but it looks like the Ducati rider was a bit too busy getting panicked. Good to see both walk away, anyway; bike can be easily fixed, bones take time.
