Now that the turkey has been pardoned by America’s finest and CNN keeps broadcasting images of the Thanksgiving travel rush, it’s safe to assume the holiday season is upon us. So open up your pockets, get those bellies ready and let the feast begin.
Unlike the surreal turkey pardon scene in the Rose Garden which we can all choose to ignore, those CNN images are a reality most Americans are confronted with every year.

So what is one to do when gridlocked miles away from the warmth of the home where everyone else is getting ready to thank whoever for whatever? One is to think about food, of course.

But as you wait for the light to turn green and you to move an extra inch, why just think about it when you can imagine all that delicious stuffing not being shoved up a turkey’s something, but pumped inside the car?

The guys at Spork Marketing, used to devising unlikely ways to transport food, experienced such an epiphany this week and decided to let the world know how much Thanksgiving stuffing can fit inside a 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan.

And they don’t mean bagged or canned, but simply stuffed in, probably with a shovel. So, how much stuffing can you fit in a Tiguan?

As usual, when Spork gets an idea there's a lot of math involved. This time the answer to the question nobody asked involves some complicated formulas meant to convert ounces to cubic feet, add, multiply, subtract and so on.

The results, however, are simpler: Spork says you can fit the contents of 600 to 6,000 boxes of stuffing in a Tiguan. Why so big of a margin? Because it depends how much you "fluff the stuff."

Weight wise that would translate into between 534 and 5,512 lbs. of stuffing. Enough to break the car’s back and ruin the entire holiday season.
