It may look terribly funny, but the chap in this video really got it good, as a result of recklessly speeding in a place where he should have known that any mistake is paid for dearly.
Now, seeing Asian scooter riders speeding in the most insane of situations is one thing we've kind of grown used to. A thing we cannot be at ease with is the incredible ways these fellows crash... and still nobody seems to learn anything.
At least this guy was wearing a helmet, so things did not go ogrish the moment he crashed. Anyway, the lid was not properly strapped, so protection was reduced.
As for the cause of the crash, we'd put our money on a very nasty combo of speed, insufficient skills, a bit of hindering from the other fellows and a dash of sliding because of the metal joint on the road, one third into the turn.
