How to Steal a Ferrari, the Tunisian Way

What do you do if you're one of the biggest fans of the Prancing Horse but Mother Nature was less generous with you than she was with Bill Gates, Sergio Marchionne or Hugh Hefner? Either you dedicate your whole life to raising money for buying one or you play the lottery. If none of these work, you steal one.

At least, this is the only good scenario that pops into our minds when seeing the following video. Of course, the reasoning behind what that guy does goes way beyond his passion for cars but since we're here to talk about cars, we should let our imagination fly beyond the political disputes that are taking place in Tunisia.

To give you a little insight into what happened, the current political problems in Tunisia forced the local president Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali to leave the country to Saudi Arabia, without many of his goods. Trying to get revenge on their president, angry Tunisians broke into his home, searching for all kinds of things to break them into pieces. The luckiest was surely this guy that found what seems to be a Ferrari 599 GTB supercar.

And how else could he have benefited the most if not by taking the beauty at home? The way he did it is less important: he used a forklift to carry the car on a pretty busy highway. The whole thing was recorded by a news team who also managed to have a short interview with the new Ferrari owner. Take a look after the jump.
