How to Shoot the New Porsche 911 Carrera 4

Porsche is eager to take us behind the scenes of the promotional video for its new Carrera 4 range, so the company has recently released a clip that shows us how much work has been put into the project, with some rather spicy details.
The automaker has taken the Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S, as well as their Cabriolet incarnations to various mountain shooting locations and made sure that they’re filmed while driven in the proper environment.

To create that, Porsche used autumn leaves, 4,857,166 of them, artificial snow, rain and artificial fog. A helicopter was also on the scene, while for the interior shoots they removed the passenger door.

Since they went so far with the details, it’s curios how they used a Mercedes ML as a camera car. This probably comes from a third-party company, but this doesn’t make its presence in the video less amusing.
