How to Setup Drift Toyota Supra in Gran Turismo 6

Some of you might actually enjoy the new Gran Turismo PS3 racing simulator, despite the fact most of the cars sound like you are playing on NES. And since we’re here, maybe you tried to build a decent Supra for drifting, but was’t exactly what you were hoping to achieve.

That’s why you should give this short tutorial a check up and see if it gets better.

So, first you’ll need to have the 1997 Toyota Supra RZ unlocked, which means you’ll first need to play a bit with other crappy cars to get the necessary score. Now that you have it selected as your car in use, go to Tuning Shop and buy the following:
  • Tires: Comfort, Hard
  • Suspension: Height-Adjustable, Fully Customizable
  • Brakes: Racing
  • Drivetrain: Six-speed Transmission / Triple-Plate Clutch Kit / Carbon Drive Shaft / Fully Customizable Mechanical Limited Slip Differential
  • Power: Stage 3 / Sports Computer / Intake Tuning / Semi-Racing Exhaust / Isometric Exhaust Manifold / Catalytic Converter: Sports / Low RPM Range Turbo Kit

Now comes the part where you have to setup your new toys to perform better for sliding around corners. So go to Car Settings and modify the following:
  • Ride Height: Front 105 / Rear 80
  • Spring Rate: Front 14.00 / 12.20
  • Dampers Compression: Front 1 / Rear 10
  • Dampers Extension: Front 10 / Rear 1
  • Anti-Roll Bars: Front 3 / Rear 7
  • Camber Angle: Front 3.8 / Rear 2
  • Toe Angle: Front -0.6 / Rear 0
  • Initial Torque: 5
  • Acceleration Sensitivity: 20
  • Braking Sensitivity: 10
  • Ballast Weight: 200 KG
  • Ballast Position: 50%
  • Power Limiter: 100%

Now hit the track and leave some skid marks. Enjoy!
