How to Scare a Friendly Arab

Some like amusement parks and the rides in them: a roller coaster, a haunted house, perhaps some rafting simulation, who knows. Others, more mature in thinking, are passed that point and prefer their adrenaline served on board of a jet, a boat or even a space shuttle.

All of the above, thrilling ways to have some fun. But not nearly as thrilling as this extreme ride coming straight from an oil producing country. Drifting, this is how they call the evil invention of the western world, that somehow reached those peaceful Middle Eastern lands.

Now, we have zero-to-none Arabic knowledge, so we have no idea what the two guys in the video below are all about. After a bit of brainstorming and one or two Sherlock Holmesian deductions, here's what we came up with.

The guy on the right, your right, is the driver. We got that because he's the one holding the steering wheel. The guy on the left, again, your left, is a passenger. We got that because he has no steering wheel.

This video, posted you-know where, is only one of many showing the same guy on your right, the driver, doing the same thing to different people sitting in the seat the guy on your left uses in this video. Hence, this is a pay-per-ride drifting experience: hooray! (or maybe a hidden camera thing, who knows?)

The guy in the video below apparently didn't know what he was getting into. Watch him carefully. He's scared senseless, so scared that he can't even speak. Watch his eyes. Phenomenal!
