Presuming that you did all the regular maintenance jobs for a 2010 Scion xD at home, you now need to reset the maintenance light so it will pop up next time.
The job is very easy and its just like pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del on your computer’s keyboard. Here’s how to do it:
Turn the ignition on but don’t start the engine
Use the “MODE” button on the dash and set the mile counter to “Trip A”
Turn the ignition off
Push the “MODE” button again and keep it pressed
Turn the ignition back on
Wait for the little lines to disappear and lots of zeros to appear
