There's absolutely nothing wrong with riding a powerful and fast bike such as a Honda CBR, be it a 600cc or a liter-class machine. Some wise, old rider once said that bikes are ridden using the head, and not the hands and feet... and to some extent, the guy was right.
The fact that some fellow is riding a crotch rocket does not mean he also have to be suicidally-stupid, and the best proof is the countless chaps riding such motorcycles safely and enjoying them to the max.. while being smart enough to come back home in one piece.
It's definitely not the case for this Russian rider, who obviously has no idea that a turn means slowing down enough for being able to ride through it, even we're talking about MotoGP. He starts braking really hard only after he misses the tanker incredibly close and sees that he's heading for the truck or bus.
Well mate, too damn late, sorry to say this. The driver does not seem to be startled by the crash, and is as calm as if nothing happened. We hope the rider was alright and revised his riding techniques, after this accident proved they were very, very wrong.
