Wanting to go the cheap way and installing the kit yourself, the adjacent step-by-step video tutorial will show you how to install an intercooler on such a car, in an amusing but informative way.

You will need a regular set of tools as well as a grinder, a power saw, piping, couplers, clamps, an intercooler and lots of time, as you will have to figure out where to install it, measure, measure again, cut, preliminary assemble the installation, test it and then fixing it for good.

In short, you will have to cut a hole in the car’s bumper to allow air intake, place the intercooler behind the newly created hole, measure its position and make mounting brackets for it. Next, you need to find a way to mount the piping from the turbo to the intercooler and further to the intake. To see the whole process and have a bit of fun, check the video bellow.
