The BMW E89 Z4 is the true roadster from BMW. Apart from its 6 Series and upcoming 4 Series brothers, it's lower and smaller and can be used for fun times in two.
The best thing about the Z4 Roadster is that it has a hard-top, you know, that thing that rolls back into the trunk and allows you to enjoy the summer sun. Being a hardtop it means that you can also use it during winter.

However, at some point, when wanting to pull back the roof, you might encounter a pesky error saying 'Trunk Partition!'. That means that the rear cargo partition is not stowed properly and the roof doesn't have enough space in the boot to retract.

If that happened to you, don't worry, we got you covered. All you have to do is open the trunk and move the cargo partition down and into the closed position, making sure it engages on both sides.

Once this is done, you can use your roadster in the way it was mean, roof-less. In case we weren't clear enough you'll find a video below from BMW USA further explaining the process.
