If you like to listen music at a higher level in your 2011 Scion tC, you’ve probably noticed that bass will make your doors rattle. What can you do, almost all cheap cars have this problem.
Luckily, there is a quick fix for this and all you need is a prying tool (thin flathead screwdriver with tape on its head should work too) and some silicone gel.
As you will see in the video bellow, the rattle is caused by the door’s trim panel surrounding the window and locking buttons. So, what you need to do is pry it open and simply put some silicone gel on the contact surfaces between it and the rest of the door panel.
Then, put the plastic trim back, give the gel some time to dry up and turn the volume up.
