While some car ads are boring, soulless, and rarely get watched untill the end, the ad for the excellent new Dodge Dart is an exception. It basically makes fun (in a genuinely amusing way) of the entire process of getting a car from the sketch-on-a-piece-of-paper state to the finished product.
Despite the fact that the guy narrating should have been Italian, to remind everybody that the car was NOT designed in America, but merely styled to ‘suit the tastes’ of the US, as well as it being underpinned by an Alfa Romeo chassis, the ad itself is very amusing and you will definitely want to watch it more than once to fully enjoy its fast-paced storytelling.
Also, to prove that compromise in design is not something Dodge do, they intentionally flipped a Reliant Robin - not that it was very hard, as we know courtesy of Jeremy Clarkson.
