We’re all for clever design and innovative car styling and that is why we admit to really liking this Megane Coupé, designed and modeled by Clavet Thomas. We really liked how he stayed true to Renault’s current styling language and adapted it to a very Brera-esque shape, mixing in a little bit of current Megane, as well as the new Clio.
Sadly, as much as we would like this car to happen, it is too much of a concept to be put into production, while being just enough of a production car to make us consider the possibility of it some day rolling off one of Renault’s production lines. Also, the lack of any exhaust pipes whatsoever, hints that this is in fact imagined as an all-electric vehicle, albeit one with rather sporty looks.
We hope Renault officials take a really good look at this car, because styling-wise it is on par or better than what their overpaid designers work on. We say it is an even better interpretation of their styling language than the Clio - one of the first production cars to boast the new look.
