How the New BMW 1-Series Is Built

If you’re living in Europe and have a television, than it’s probably inundated with the same commercial for the new BMW 1-Series, featuring those two chisel-jawed twins that try to prove to us that two identical cars are actually different.
Well now they’ve got something new, because BMW has decided to use Adam and Freddie in a video that shows how the car they sell, the new 1-Series, is put together.

It all starts in Leipzig, where a piece of sheetmetal is cut and stamped into a panel. After that, some... autobots do the assembly work and then the chassis moves to the control area where they check for imperfections. Next is paint, after which it’s assembly.

The guys even get to put the famous propeller badge on the bonnet of a red 1er - the last process in the whole production cycle.
