How the Bear Stole the Car...

...or at least broke into one. We all, at one point, heard about bears getting a bit to close to either human settlements or humans themselves. Driven by hunger, the often-dangerous mammals have become accustomed to the human presence and are no longer a rare sight in the cities near which they live.

This... guy, however, took the above statement to a whole new level. When a car alarm began creating havoc in the middle of the night near Florisant, in the Colorado Mountain Estates, the owners thought what any common sense individual would think: someone is stealing the car.

Far from it, and the Teller County Sheriff's Office learned it... the fearful way. Called on the scene by the couple who owned the car, the deputies found themselves stared at, through the windshield of the car, by...a bear.

As the Denver Post says, the bear was as surprised to see the officers as they were to see it. We doubt that...

The story ended quite abruptly, with the bear running as soon as the police officers opened the doors of the car. Spirited, of the officers managed to get over his surprise and snatch a few photos of the bear, as it was starring, surprised, from the front seats of the car.

After exhausting police work, the Teller County Sheriff's Office concluded the bear learned how to open car doors, you know, to look for food, a child, something in the car. The same police officers found out, through the required forensic work, that the bear managed to trap himself inside the car as he was going about his business.

Apparently, he missed out on "how to exit a car lesson". Oh, the teacher-rabbit will be p****d...

Anyway, the couple whose car got destroyed, on the inside, haven't pressed any charges. Apparently, bears still can't speak, so it's impossible to defend themselves...
