Audi has recently launched a TV ad for its SQ5 hot SUV and the company is truly determined to convince us that style alone is not enough. In order to do so, the video turns to an old trick in the marketing book: the broken show heel.
Nevertheless, the ad has a dramatic way of portraying things, one that makes it deserve one minute of your time. It all starts with a woman who seems perfect when it comes to style.
She’s walking down the street in Barcelona, Spain, with an aura of superiority. All of a sudden, the heel of her left shoe decides to leave her and all hell brakes loose.
