Even thought it's a quintessentially European car, the Fiesta is in the end still a Ford. And any Ford, no matter where it's built, is defined by the efficiency that made the Model T so famous.
The Fiesta is assembled in Cologne for the European market, at a factory in Niehl that also makes the B-Max or the Fiesta. One of the largest automaking facilities in Europe employs 4,000 people at the body shop and thousands more to make transmissions or engines.

As a result of such a huge operation, Ford puts a brand new Fiesta out the factory door every 86 seconds. Why? Because it's currently the best sold car in its segment right now and demand has gone through the roof since they launched the facelift.
