Hotel in Milan Welcomes Guests with Exclusive Access to Two Abarth Sportscars

All models of the performance example of Fiat 500 use a turbocharged and intercooled version of the 1.4-liter Fire petrol engine. We’re talking about a small city car that is rated at 133 horsepower at 5500 rpm and 130 lb-ft (180 Nm). If you’re a true petrolhead, you must be well aware of what that type of performance means in terms of driving delight. This hotel from Milan sure does.

The special offer comes from Park Hyatt, and it’s here to promote the Expo 2015 fair. They have partnered up with Abarth “to redefine the ultimate customer experience.” It may not be the ultimate, but we can tell you this much, sightseeing Italy’s most cosmopolitan city and charming surrounding areas with no limits sure sounds like a good enough reason to stay there. It doesn’t mean we’re actually going to Italy, but we do enjoy the limits marketing touches these days.

Available until October 31st, it involves exclusive access to two fully-loaded Abarth sportscars. Guests are invited to get behind the wheel of a 595 Turismo or 595 Turismo cabrio, and let the spirit of adventure kick in. There are a couple of setbacks if you want to call them that way. First, the service is subject to the availability of the cars. Secondly, you can’t leave Italy with the car.

Now, since we’re at it, we figured we may as well take a look at the bigger picture, and by that we mean the entire Abarth 595 range. As you may recall, in 2012, the Abarth range was enlarged with the addition of the new 133, 158 and 178 hp versions.

Four versions are available, all with either manual or MTA transmission and in hatchback or cabriolet body style: Custom, Turismo, Competizione, Kit Elaborazione. The model in question features standard leather upholstery, upgraded dampers and climate control, Xenon headlights and Alutex interior details.
