Some track days are less fortunate than others and the Spa-Francorchamps episode shown in the clip at the bottom of the page certainly makes for one agitated track stint.
The footage comes from a hot hatch driver who uses multiple cameras to record his circuit adventures - the man recorded not one, but two crashes during a recent session on the Belgian track.

The first accident saw a modded C5-generation Corvette loosing the rear end while preparing to enter a turn. The Chevrolet driver did step on the brakes, but it looks like ABS failed him, with the 'Vette ending up kissing the guardrail in a cloud of tire smoke.

Fortunately, though, the car wasn't entirely ruined in the unfortunate event, as we can see the driver stepping taking his machine out of the dangerous zone surrounding that particular corner.

As for the second crash, we don't get to see how this took place. However when a senior Ferrari is found on the side of the track with serious damage at both ends, you know things are serious. We're talking about  a 328 or a 308. However, given the extreme bashing taken by the Prancing Horse, we can't really tell which one of the two models was unlucky enough to be ruined during the event mentioned here.

The crashes are recorded from inside a tuned 2015 Seat Leon Cupra, which has been taken to 340 hp and gifted with a few track-savvy mods such as an adjustable KW Clubsport suspension. We can see the car lapping Spa together with a pair of Megane RS units in what we like to call a pack of "Ring" Wolves.

P.S.:However, you shouldn't expect front-wheel-drive hot hatches to be protected by some FWD God when it comes to severe track accidents - These Megane RS airborne crashes (this one and this one) have quite a story to tell.
