Premium German manufacturer Horex does not look exactly happy with the already mind-blowing VR6 V6 roadsters made in Augsburg , so and even more exclusive, limited-run machine was recently announced: the VR6 Cafe Racer 33 Limited, an upgraded version of their naked beast, but with some extra premium parts.
The biggest, and most likely, the most expensive upgrade is the new suspension setup the VR6 base model receives. Horex’ new Café Racer is now equipped with Öhlins suspensions at both ends. The front got an Öhlins FGRT upside-down fork, while the rear was equipped with a TTX 36 monoshock. Both units are obviously fully-adjustable, so finding the best setup for riders of different weights, with different styles and for riding on various types of roads or tracks is now much easier.
Öhlins also provides the steering damper, while the sporty, laced wheels come from Kineo, complementing the Brembo brakes and the revised ergonomics. Taller, sportier rearsets, slightly repositioned clip-on bars, a smaller, retro headlight and a new paint job round up the package.
For those who feel like riding solo, a special-design rear cowl was created, with its lines harking back to the rear hump of the 60’s café racers. However, it can be easily removed and make room for a passenger. Together with the Brownish Silver new paint, it adds a dash of individuality to the Horex VR6 Cafe Racer 33 Limited.
Horex announces only 33 such motorcycles will be manufactured, and the price is €33,333 ($46,195). Definitely more rideable than the Lotus C-01, we believe that the Horex VR6 Cafe Racer 33 Limited will sell quite well. That is, all 33 of them…
