Horacio Pagani was a baker’s son and he had an obsession with perfectionism and designing cars out of balsa wood back in the day.
Today, you probably know him as the founder of the Pagani car manufacturing company that makes the Zonda and the Huayra supercars, two gems of the auto industry.
And it looks like Horacio’s obsession with perfection brought him behind the wheel of a Lexus LFA, the katana of the auto world. He was spotted driving the black supercar in Chile.
Powered by a V10 engine that makes 560 hp, the Lexus LFA can reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 325 km/h (201.9 mph). The car also weighs just 1450 kg (3,197 lb) thanks to lightweight body parts made out of CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic), for which Lexus had to develop a high-tech loom in order to manufacture them.
