Horacio Pagani Reportedly Bought this Porsche 918 Spyder, Hypercar Spotted in Italy

Porsche might have announced the final unit of the 918 Spyder was assembled earlier this year, but the news about the new owners is getting more and more interesting. The latest example of this has to do with the 918 in these imagines, which reportedly belongs to Horacio Pagani.

For one thing, the Porsche halo car features a Zonda-themed license plate, but multiple unofficial sources report this is Horacio’s car. The hybrid was spotted at an Ultracar Sports Club Event that took place recently at the Mssano Circuit in Italy.

While the shade of Blue used by the machine is the one that catches the eye, Porsche aficionados will also notice the Weissach Package fitted to the 918.

This is far from being the first time when Horacio welcomes a hypercar from outside his stable into his personal collection. Aside from the obvious Zonda he owns (a Zonda F), Pagani’s founder also has a Ford GT.

Moreover, the man was spotted driving a McLaren P1 last year. Nevertheless, we’re not sure whether he owns the British hypercar or was simply testing it for benchmarking purposes.

As those of you following the hypercar scene know, Pagani has been developing a more extreme version of the Huayra for about two years now, so driving the P1 would’ve made full sense.

While we’ve seen spyshots and numerous unofficial reports have brought bits and pieces of information, we’re still far from getting to know the solid numbers that revolve around Pagani’s upcoming creation. Perhaps the most important detail was show in one of the spyshot episodes, which pointed towards a hybrid powertrain.

Returning to Horacio Pagani and especially the possibility of him owning that McLaren, we’re eager to find out whether he’s also purchased a LaFerrari or not. His opinion on the upcoming 2017 Ford GT would also be interesting.
