Hooning Is Murder, Says this Facebook Community

Online communities come in all shape and sizes. While last time we talked about this we applauded a Facebook community that condemned touching other people’s supercars, we are in a bit of a shock now.

That’s because we’ve just come across a Facebook cause called “Hooning Is Murder”. While we obivously don’t condone hooning on public roads, these people are nothing short of the automotive world equivalent for exaggerated feminism.

We’ll give you a taste of what they post: “A “rip” of a handbrake will force your car to violently “drift” out of traction, causing your car to slide, send you into a fit of rage, makes you choke on highly toxic tyre fumes or even worse, send you into a ditch or inanimate object, crash and kill yourself or an innocent bystander.”

This advice sounds like it’s made for a world where people drive down the street and suddenly feel an urge to pull the handbrake.

The community, which comes from Australia, even has some car recommendations for us. So, without further ado, here are the commandments:

More Cars you should buy:
  • Ford Kuga (non-turbo and auto)
  • Holden Trax (non-turbo and auto)
  • Mazda CX-5 (non-turbo and auto)
  • Lexus SC300 (non-turbo and auto)
  • Infinity G35 (non-turbo and auto)

More Cars you should avoid:
  • Ford Mustang
  • Chevrolet Camaro
  • Mazda RX-8
  • Toyota Soarer
  • Nissan Skyline V35

By now you’ve probably figured we are dealing with a troll page here. Amusingly enough, some of the people over on Facebook take this seriously. Oh and the cause has about 4.5k likes...
