It’s rather seldom when a bike is delivered with the best seat available, and this is where the aftermarket seat makers (and your extra cash) come in. Corbin has just revealed a line-up of special treats for the all-new Honda Gold Wing Valkyrie, in the shape of Fleetliner hard saddlebags, a Gunfighter seat and a two-up Dual Touring saddle for those who plan to ride mostly with a passenger.
If you’ve see other saddlebag systems from Corbin, then you sort of know what to expect from them. Like other similar systems, the Valkyrie Fleetliner saddlebags are visually integrated with the lines of the bike and look completely stock, even though they’re not.

Made from polyurethane for a perfect finish and for great durability, these sidecases are usually delivered with a gel-coat finish which doesn’t show the material texture and which is color-matched with your bike. If you prefer to have them painted separately, you can order them with a primer gel-coat, as well. The cases offer 43 liters of storage per total and are fully lined with a grey liner which protects the cargo. As expected, the lids are lockable and have weather stripping seal to keep water out.

Their shape is sculpted to perfection to fit around the exhausts and turn signals. Even more, they have heel pads to protect the finish from accidental scrapes the passenger’s boots may cause. The Fleetliner saddlebags for the 2014 Honda Gold Wing Valkyrie are supplied with all the mounting hardware and retail for $1,793 (direct US price).

Comfort your behind and lower back with the heated Corbin seats

Ever want to take comfort to the next level? Corbin’s Gunfighter and Dual Touring seats are among the top choices for your Valkyrie. The Gunfighter is a seat dedicated to those who prefer to ride solo, while the Dual Touring option addresses those who ride often with their better half.

Both seats are made with Corbin’s Fibertech basepan and Comfort Cell foam, finished in genuine leather. Like all Corbin seats, these two may need some time to break in and provide the rider with the perfect anatomical support. The manufacturer claims once the seats reach their designed shape, they copy the body shape extremely well and provide excellent support.

Backrests and a glove box are optional add-ons you can install on your Valkyrie. Seat covers can be ordered in multiple colors and in vinyl with various textures. Gunfighter prices start at $393, while the non-heated Dual Touring is $493. If you want some heat, you’ll have to spend $653. All prices are Corbin direct sales, in the US.
