It was only a matter of time until we got to see the youngest MotoGP world champion ever Marc Marquez starring in a Honda commercial, and that time has come. Marquez is starring in a commercial HRC published today, for the Blade 125FI scooter.
As far as we delved, the Blade 125FI is made in Vietnam and resembles quite a lot to the smaller NSC50R machine. These similarities regard the generic shape of these two-wheelers and the unmistakable Repsol livery. 125cc-class scooters are highly popular in Asia and Europe alike, as they come with all the advantages of two-wheeled transportation and are less intimidating than motorcycles.

Even more, most of them ca be operated without A-category licensing after a shorter training and with cheaper costs. Nimble and economical, such scooters are manufactured by most big names in the industry including iconic brands such as Vespa, Piaggio and many more.

The Blade 125FI is the next-gen fuel-injected version of the base model and delivers under 9hp, thus being a really fun machine. Now, mixing three racing icons in this commercial was a clever idea, as advertising a scooter using the reigning MotoGP word champion, riding under the Repsol Honda livery on the Sepang MotoGP circuit in Malaysia simply cannot fail. And Marquez speaking Malaysian sounds exoticlu fun!
