Honda Teases Thailand-Bound Brio-Based Sedan

The major automakers are always expanding and diversifying their range of cars, to meet the needs of specific markets, where their usual slew of cars just wouldn’t cut it. Now, Honda have released a teaser for an upcoming small sedan, which is very possibly based on their low-cost Brio hatch.
They call it ‘the sedan of your dreams’, and while the car may look quite plain from the teases, it looks to have some interesting creases and shapes lower down - the rear lights are also very nicely proportioned, for a car of this size and type. The car will be powered by a 1.2-liter petrol engine, which develops 88 hp and 109 Nm of torque, and quite possibly a yet-uncofirmed diesel engine, which reportedly displaces 1.5 liters.

Its target markets are Thailand, India and China, and while Honda have not revealed a particular date when it will be launched, they do say that it is “coming soon”.
