Honda might be a Japanese car brand, but the European market cars are designed and engineered by Europeans. They know what we like and they also know we've been carefully monitoring every step taken by the new Type R, from the first time it hit the Nurburgring to the moment when it emerged for benchmark testing. We even have video footage of the testing.
Knowing all that, the clever folks at Honda decided to throw a teaser out there. There's no shot of the new Civic Type R per say, nor should there be. Instead, we see the typical Civic customer, a back-to-front hat wearing youth, painting something on the track. No, not a giant phallic symbol. It's the emblematic "Type R" logo. Nice!
No exciting enough? Just wait until you see the car!
But why is Honda teasing a new Civic Type R, which was only expected to be ready in 2015. Either we've been told lies or they are going to show a concept soon.
