Honda seems to be very proud of its new UK-built Civic Tourer. Or its European Civic Tourer if you prefer. They have yet to shows the car in full, but they keep bragging about it. They could be right, though. Maybe that new rear Adaptive Damper System will make a difference in the segment? Not likely.
And that’s because the aforementioned technology is not what we would call new... or innovative. Honda is just trying to say the Civic Tourer is the first production car to have an adaptive damper system fitted to the rear axle only. Just like the Kia CUB Concept was the first yellow car to have a mustache.
However, we won’t find out if the Civic Tourer will indeed stand out until early 2014, so we might as well take a seat and listen to what Honda has to say about their new vehicle, which is scheduled to be fully unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
