The absolute surprise of the show was the Honda FC Spot, a concept car with 0 greenhouse emissions.

Styling wise, the new Honda looks cute, with the front grille reminding me of a little piggy, and the back looks like the back part of a hen or pigeon with no feathers on it. All in all it looks funny, but not mind bending.

The brilliant thing is that this is meant to be a sportscar, which means that in the new-coming world of no fuel emissions and electric cars there is a hope for those seeking thrills behind the wheel. The FC Spot uses the V-Flow fuel cell stack and an electric drivetrain derived from the Honda FCX Clarity (another Honda hydrogen car). The seat arrangement remind us of the McLaren F1 supercar with the driver sitting in the center and two mates in the back, flanking him.

Dan Bonawitz, vice president of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. said that "the Honda FC Sport explores how to satisfy automotive performance enthusiasts in a world beyond petroleum. People who love sports cars will still have a reason to love in a hydrogen-powered future."

The downside is that the concept is just a... concept and it isn't functional. But as we know wth Honda all these concept eventually become reality, but we wouldn't advise the company to repeat the trick they did with the Civic.

Please, Honda revise the design a bit, and make the car look a bit sportier, and fierce. You could employ some designers from Spyker. Now that would be an absolute cracker.
