The Honda Fit/Jazz isn’t the kind of car one would expect could ever do any sort of off-roading - even of the mild kind. However, now the Japanese manufacturer has revealed a raised crossover-esque version of the Fit, designed specifically for the Brazilian market, called the ‘Twist’.
It gets slightly taller suspension, plastic body cladding, aluminium kick plates on the side and roof rails, as well as revised bumpers, grille with new-design foglamps. Under the bonnet, things are left unchanged, with a choice of two petrol engines, a 1.4-liter unit with 100 hp, and a 1.5-liter unit with 115 hp.

Honda has not announced the pricing information for this model yet, but it is tipped to go on sale in Brazil next month, so the price will be revealed just prior to the actual launch. It seems that everybody is making a taller version of their supermini for the Brazilian market these days...
