Romanian designer Andrus Ciprian has done it again! After releasing some out-of-this-world designs for concept vehicles such as the Hummer HB, Mazda RX-Z and Dacia MC, Ciprian made our jaw drop with the brand new Honda Pegasus.

This piece of racing machine has everything it needs to make even someone like Michael Schumacher abandon his Formula One career for good and get behind the wheel of this beauty. Of course, this car will likely remain a drawing on a piece of paper for the rest of its life, but the way it was designed makes our imagination go crazy.

The airplane-inspired bodywork of the Honda Pegasus reminds us all of the mid-century concept cars like the Pontiac Firebird II, with the front/rear wings having a futuristic design and the spoiler adding to the aerodynamics of the vehicle. Positioned all around the vehicle, these aero parts would ensure a perfect airflow around the car, as well as keep it on the ground.

And that's because the engine envisioned for this concept Honda Pegasus could propel the car to unimaginable speeds. Ciprian's sketches show us a small gas turbine jet engine (the word “jet” tells the entire engine story here), while the car's wheels have been designed with several vanes in order to draw the air inside and therefore improve cooling.

Although we weren't shown any pictures from the interior of this racer, we're pretty sure it resembles the inside of a space ship.
