You can have a close encounter with the all-new Honda NM4 Vultus in case you’re in London, UK these days and are attending the Comic Con, as the Japanese manufacturer will debut its Manga-inspired machine at this event.
Honda could hardly find a better occasion to introduce this new machine: the London Comic Con is Europe largest comic convention, with attendance exceeding 80,000. Sources mention that the designers of the Vultus will also be present at the event, providing explanations for the concept behind the bike.

Dave Hancock, the magician whose wand touch any new Honda motorcycle must receive before making it into production, sheds more light upon the manufacturer’s choice to debut the Vultus in London: “With the NM4 Vultus, we are offering customers a motorcycle with a unique identity and riding experience. Its futuristic look has been influenced by Japanese animation and manga, which makes Comic Con a natural environment to display it to the public for the first time," he declares.

Aside the striking design, the Honda NM4 Vultus, brings user-selectable dash and running lights colors, a truly futuristic, edgy design with great ergonomics, and a flip-up backrest which allows the bike to effortlessly and quickly transform into a two-up machine.

At its heart, Honda loaded a liquid-cooled 4-stroke OHC inline 2-cylinder, 745cc engine mated to the increasingly popular Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) gearbox with riding modes, and a fuel economy which can even reach an incredible 3.5 l/100 km (67 mpg). At 245 kg (540 lbs) this is now exactly the lightest middleweight machine, but with a sear height of 650mm (25.6”) securely planting a foot down when stopped will not be a problem for anyone.

The rumored price of the new NM4 Vultus is expected to be around the $11,000 (€7,975) mark, but we hope Honda sheds some more light upon this matter. Follow this autoevolution link for more photos of the Vultus.
