We have good news for the Honda NC700X owners who are dreaming to tread the less-trodden paths which lead away form the asphalt strip. Hepco & Becker announce their all-new aluminium skidplate for the Honda NC700X and a new tank bag.
The skidplate is touted to be the only pro-grade bashplate for the Honda NC700X at the moment, though we believe more will be made available form major aftermarket manufacturers, too.
Manufactured form aircraft-grade aluminium 5mm thick, the Honda NC700X skidplate has 3 mounting brackets which will absorb the energy of very powerful impacts and shield the underside of the engine. It retails for $258.25 (), a bit on the expensive side, I might say.
The tank bag brings back an older idea: the Lock-It Tank Ring, now paired with very strong magnets and staying in place much safer, until the rider deliberately pulls it off the mount.
Making the tank easy to mount and take off the bike, this system should appeal riders who don;t want to carry a large topcase for city rides and who'd rather take the whole soft pack with them as they go away from the bike.
