The 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon is just around the corner, and Japan’s automakers and tuners are presenting their latest custom creations. It’s going to be a bit like seeing a Japanese version of SEMA, and this first glimpse of what Honda is bringing will basically explain to you what we mean.
Instead of targeting a big SUV or sedan, they’ve tuned the new N-One kei car with a slew of cool parts from big names in the Japan tuning: Modulo and Mugen.

The N-One is a brand new car that went on sale in Japan last month. It’s got a very classic shape and retro headlights. Mugen added to this with custom sports wheels and suspension and all-round spoilers and skirts.

Modulo went for a black and white theme, with a white body, black wheels, a new black grille and headlight insert and a really cool interior with Recaro sports seats.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
