Honda N Box Unveiled at 2011 Tokyo Motor Show

While it’s unlikely that something like this will ever make it to the European or American markets, the little Honda N Box mini-van kit car is still worth our attention. The vehicle will go on sale in Japan this month and has made its debut at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show.

As all kei cars, the N Box is powered by a twincam 660cc engine and a continuously variable automatic transmission created with economy in mind. Also typical is the box shape and ample space inside, thanks to clever seating. It’s even based on a design concept that’s called man maximum/machine minimum!

Probably the coolest feature is the unique blind spot mirror array, which is basically like a prism letting you see what’s in front of the bumper. There’s even one that lets you see behind the car. Amazing stuff that you should definitely check out in the photo gallery.
