Honda Live Every Liter Premieres on July 21

“WITH A FULL TANK, AN OPEN ROAD AND NO EXCUSES, WHERE WOULD YOU GO? The dream journeys people want to make - but never do.“ This is the idea which made Japanese manufacturer Honda embark on a project which ended up adding 15 months of work and 10.000 km traveled (621 miles), 38 shooting days in 18 European cities, about 1,000 applicants and, of course, the CR-Z Sport Hybrid.

The result of all that work will be seen on July 21 at 20:00 (GMT), the date and time when the Live Every Liter documentary airs for the first time. The movie will be shown in several yet undisclosed locations, with the main premiere to take place in London, with all those who made it possible attending. Additionally, the documentary will also be aired online on www.liveeverylitre.com.

“We attracted a big number of fans in the project as we voted and filmed in stages, so having them all watch the result online, at the same time with the live Live Every Litre event is extraordinary,” says movie director Claudio Von Planta.

“I'm sure we'll find new fans, people who have discovered the Live Every Litre project through the clips uploaded on Youtube. It's always interesting for a director to see his work looked at for the first time, so that he may evaluate their reactions.”

The documentary is, as you probably already know by now, a means for Honda to advertise the CR-Z Sport Hybrid, a “sport hybrid coupe for people with a spirit of adventure and an elevated sense of responsibility,” as John Mendel, executive vice president of sales for American Honda calls it. The movie features 13 people, as they trek in their 13 personal journeys across the world.
