Honda’s UK division is launching a winter care program that offers drivers a season-specific check, complete service for the winter, as well as a pair of tire snow socks. The aforementioned tire socks offer an easier alternative to show chains, being easier to use and store, but promise to provide enough extra traction without causing noise or vibration.
“After several severe winters in a row, we are keen to ensure Honda customers are fully prepared and able to stay mobile where possible,” commented Dave Hodgetts, Managing Director of Honda (UK). “Snow socks offer the perfect combination of affordability and ease of use without the worry of where to store them.”

As for Honda’s winter health check, this includes an inspection of the battery, windscreen, tyres, brakes and lights, with the engine coolant and screeenwash fluid levels also being checked.
