After long years of almost complete absence from the chopper segment, Honda seems to have regained interest, and here's the 2013 Interstate.
There were the Shadow bikes, but they brought almost nothing new and therefore they started to lose their appeal. The new bike boasts an 1312cc engine with dual balancers for a smoother feel and the PGM-FI injection technology aiming for better mileage and more power.
As expected, the Honda 2013 Interstate sports a shaft final drive coming from a 5-speed gearbox and offers an ABS version. One nifty feature is the color-matched frame; yet, since the bike is available in only one color, this so-called premium feature still lies in the shadow.
The bike's lines are pretty fluid and it will surely have a lot of fans. A windshield is also present in the official picture, but Honda does not specify whether this is standard or an extra item. The base price for the 2013 Honda Interstate is $13,240 (€10,095), while the ABS version retails for $14,240 (€ 10,850).
