Honda Insight Revised

Honda’s UK division has chosen to involve customers in the process of turning the Insight Hybrid into a mature vehicle.

According to autoexpress, the company has used customer feedback to update the Insight. The information came from the first batch of the car’s buyers and targets the vehicle’s suspension.

Many customers said that the Insight’s ride was too harsh, so the Japanese carmaker has tweaked the suspension to solve the issue.

Honda has enhanced the ride comfort by softening the recoil rate of the springs, adjusting the rear camber angles and modifying the car’s V-shape rear suspension brace and adjusting mounts. The company’s engineers have worked hard to make sure that the new setup won't compromise the handling of the vehicle.

In addition to introducing the aforementioned tech changes, Honda has extended the Insight range, adding a new top of the range version, dubbed EX. This brings multiple goodies, including standard features such as a leather finish for the seats and a satellite navigation system. Starting from now, the ES models (and superior trim levels) come with rear parking sensors.

The interior of the car has also received attention, receiving fresh trims that create a new atmosphere for the occupants of the vehicle.

As for the pricing, the revised Insight can be yours starting from 16,325 pounds (this is the price for the SE model). At the other end of the scale, we find the aforementioned EX version, which comes with a starting price of 20,215 pounds.
