Yes, all of us want to see Honda hybrid hatch stop being a wannabe, grow a supercharger and turn into a hybrid hot hatch.

Well, at this year's SEMA Honda is giving us a new dream, with the HPD supercharged CR-Z Concept. The company's Honda Performance Division (HPD) arm had added a supercharger, an intercooler, high-flow injectors and, of course, a new ECU map, allowing the CR-Z to offer a final output of 185 hp and 169 lb-ft (229 Nm) of torque.

To cope with the extra muscle, the car has received a set of upgrades that target the braking system, as well as the suspension and the wheels & tires.

Yes, we know what you're going to ask and here's the answer in official words: the Honda HPD Supercharged CR-Z Concept is an "exploration of the performance potential of the CR-Z Sport Hybrid"
