UPDATE: Honda Fury to Be Unveiled Today at New York

You probably remember  the horror presentation of the Honda Fury we talked about a week ago. Even though the official pictures will be presented on furyisunleashed.com in less than five hours, we are now ready to supply you with further details on the much-touted chopper.

It seems that hellforleathermagazine.com has managed to find out in advance something more about “the unstoppable force” that “once it's out, there will be no way to putting it back”. Thanks to an official unveiling at the New York International Motorcycle Show on Friday, the shot you see is a motorbike identical to the Honda Fury.

As Honda promised us a totally different motorbike, the Fury features the longest wheelbase of any production motorcycle and is powered by a 1312cc fuel-injected and liquid-cooled V-twin.The 200 series rear tire is sustained by a hidden monoshock, but  the front tire is only 90/90-21. Now that all speculations came to an end, you should know that the Fury uses shaft drive, which is completely different than the traditional belt on custom-style motorcycles.

In addition, Honda decided to use a 1300cc engine for the motorbike which could make the bike be valued at sub-$20,000. However, the Honda Fury is a motorbike to enjoy by yourself as it seems to be a one-passenger vehicle judging by the photo. For the moment, we refrain from any comments regarding the motorbike's performance, safety and comfort since nothing official has been announced yet, but we just cannot help admiring  the clean overall look of the Fury.

So far we haven't figured out the connection between the Honda Fury and the angry under 10 year-olds used in the virals, but stay close because we are surely coming back with more details and official photos within a few hours.

Update: Yes, it's finally here and as we promised, we brought you some fresh photos with it. As you can see, the most obvious attraction is centered on its chopper styling: high-mount steering head giving the frame a see-through, open-air look with plenty of breathing room between the tank/upper frame and the front cylinder head; slim and long fuel tank perched up high; ultra-low 26.7-inch seat height; big-time rake; fat 200-series rear tire paired with a slim 21-inch front wheel, a condensed, hard-tail look to the rear end and a stretched wheelbase. It's definitely wild and aggressive!
