Testardo is Italian for 'stubborn' or 'hardheaded' and we have no idea why has Emporio Elaborazioni Meccaniche (EEM) chosen this name for such a bike. Maybe because the bike refused to go down as an old, ugly, uncared after Honda CX500 and wanted to make is big... and with some help from the (you guessed it) Italian workshop EEM, dreams became reality.
The donor bike looked really mauled and has absolutely nothing in common with the new attire of the Testardo, and that's really good. We totally loved the liberal use of the workshop's traditional wrench symbol on the new project: plate holder, speedo holder, gear lever, battery support and headlight support, they all have it and there's even a wrench profile painted on the radiator. Talk about branding...

The other thing which makes the Testardo so cool is the removable passenger seat cover: one can ride solo like a bad boy, but if the damsel sees this a distress-causing matter, the Testardo can change in a two-up machine in instants. And this means business!

Finally, the tank god a wonderful streamlined shape which accentuates the somewhat passively-aggressive nature of the bike and makes it look even neater. We guess one doesn't really have ot be a testardo to grow to love this bike!
