It looks like Honda is taking the CTX family one step further, as we got these spy photos of the upcoming CTX1300 machine, via Cycle World.
The Honda CTX1300 brings in two familiar shapes: the F6B and the DN-01. In fact the sweet F6B already had some of the stance of the DN-01 bike, which was a bit ahead of its time. We can clearly see a transverse V4 in the vein of the new Motus machinery and it's really sweet to see this feature back on Honda's agenda.

With a front end retaining massive F6B DBA, this bike is surely a looker. Though the pictured machine has a clutch lever and shifter, we can definitely expect that Honda delivers a DCT version.

The wheels are rather flat and don't match the modern attire of the bike, but this can easily be changed, of course. Much brawnier than the CTX700 machines, the new bike will also be hungrier, but to what extent remains to be seen.

Hardcases the Deauville and ST1300 style are also a welcome addition for the weekend tourer and add pleasant visual balance to the build. I am not sure whether I like this bike as much as other similar motorcycles, but that's only me: it looks very cool and could help Honda's figures in a quite nice way.
