Honda CR-Z and Type-R Mugen Offered for Test Drives at Goodwood

Honda announced that it will take part in the first Moving Motor Show at Goodwood, offering car enthusiasts the chance to test drive two of its most exciting cars on a special track.In addition to that, Honda will also be showcasing a selection of its racing cars and motorcycles at the Goodwood Festival of Speed (2-4 July).

The Honda stand will also host the “Question of Motorsport" quiz, which will feature Honda stars from past and present and will be hosted by Tim Harvey, former BTCC Champion and Porsche Carrera Cup racer.

The Moving Motor show will take place on July 1, one day before the Festival of Speed Debuts and will allow attenders to enjoy test drives on a 3.5 miles route that includes the famous Goodwood Hillclimb.

The route includes the world famous Goodwood Hillclimb, allowing aspiring racers to follow in the tracks of racing legends like Sir Stirling Moss, Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button,” stated the press release.

The Honda vehicles offered for test drives will be the CR-Z sporty hybrid and the Civic Type R MUGEN edition (one of the 20 being produced), which will offer 240 hp of hot hatch fun to the public.

Two Honda cars have been made available for members of the public to drive at the Moving Motor Show on 1 July: the CR-Z, Honda’s new sporty hybrid, brings driving thrills with low emissions, while the Honda Civic Type R MUGEN – one of only 20 being made – will use its 240PS high-revving engine to excite drivers over the renowned Hillclimb route,” stated the press release.
