Honda Civic Type R Mugen UK Pricing Announced

Honda's Japanese tuning division has just announced the Honda Civic Type R Mugen price for the UK market, with every part in the body kit priced separately. The body kit, which can be purchased a total price of £6,061.96, includes a new front bumper, air intakes, a sports grille, new fenders, bonnet, a rear bumper and an adjustable rear wing.

However, the Honda Civic Type R Mugen also comes with an improved chassis and braking system and a 2.0-liter i-VTEC engine that outputs 237 bhp and 219 Nm of torque.

But getting back to the aerodynamic elements that form the package, the front aero bumper that incorporates large brake duct intakes and an aerodynamically shaped profile can be purchased for £1,150.60.

The air intake garnish installed into the front of the Mugen aero bumper, which only provides additional air channeling and a plus in the visual appearance will cost you just £234.38. The front Sports grille and the front aero fenders are priced at £372.88 and £852.29 respectively.

Moreover, the Mugen Honda Civic Type R aero bonnet ( £1,257.14) is equipped with large, functioning air outlets with a detachable air outlet inner cover. When open, it allows more cool air through the engine bay, helping to lower underbonnet temperatures.

Moving to the rear side of the model, customers will have to pay £1,044.07 to get a rear bumper, which completes the design along with the twin exhaust outlets.

However, is the rear back end of the car that will likely attract the most, thanks to the rear wing (£1,150.60). Adjustable in two places to suit driving conditions, the Mugen rear wing is made from ABS plastic, with an FRP base. Installation requires the removal of the original factory Civic Type R rear wing.
